I’m not sure I agree with Black Friday’s Magazine’s take on upcoming tablets, but let’s take a look.

There has been much speculation over which tablet PC will prove to be the most popular in 2012, or if any company will be able to upset Apple’s iPad 2 as the most used tablet on the market. The internet is abuzz with rumors of a soon to be released Google tablet, which could be a realistic contender for the iPad 2 in the coming months.

PC World reports on its view of CES this year.  Lots of tablets and apps will be on display at the gigantic CES show in Las Vegas next week. But we’ll also see older technologies that are trying to behave more like mobile devices.

The consumer tablet market hit a global high of 15.5 million units shipped in Q3 2011 climbing from 4.5 million in Q3 2010, according to the latest Tablet Tracking report from Futuresource Consulting.
